Write out positive, personal statements as if they’re already true. Like, “I’ve got what it takes to reach my goals” or “I deserve love and respect.” Make these part of your daily routine by saying them out loud each morning, jotting them down in a journal, or sticking them up where you can see them.

The key is to keep at it, because affirmations work best when you use them regularly. They’ll slowly but surely help change how you think and live.
