Ever wondered what’s your mind and body type?

In Ayurveda, the path to real healing starts with determining that.

And trust me, it’s not a simplistic process.

In fact, it involves a deep reflection on the way your body works, your preferences, the way you think and feel.

Even your dreams are part of the assessment!

Learn more about yourself with this Ayurveda dosha test.

Okay. Let’s find out your constitution.

The three doshas of Vata, Pitta, and Kapha regulate the human organism. All of them are necessary to keep your body and mind healthy.

Ayurveda, a sophisticated medicine system which is thousands of years old, refers to three main constitutions or doshas. In order to achieve a healthy equilibrium within your body and mind, you should follow some basic guidelines, uniquely designed for each dosha, in order to maintain your constitution in balance.

According to Ayurveda, there are three main forces in the universe.

These forces are Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. They are dominated by the elements of wind, fire, and water.

  • Vata is controlled by Wind
  • Pitta is controlled by Fire
  • Kapha is controlled by Water

Because they are the forces that regulate your mind and body, they determine the processes of growth and decay within you.

That’s why it’s so important to find out your body type!

Now, check this out.

When the doshas are out of balance, they cause disease! However, only by understanding your constitution, you are able to restore your health and make the changes that genuinely will help you achieve your most vibrant state of wellbeing.

Keep reading. I wanna show show you some basics about each dosha.

The good news is that Ayurveda takes into consideration the whole YOU! This is rather unsual in trendy fitness approaches where they look only at your body.

Not with Ayurveda!

This test will consider not only your physical, but also mental characteristics to establish your dosha. Why? Because, Ayurveda teaches us that EVERY aspect of life contributes to overall health.

A beautiful equilibrium is therefore, achieved when you learn how to keep your unique combination of doshas balanced. Although you have a dosha that is more dominant than the others, you need all three in your being to control the different body and mind processes.

You deserve an unique approach, and knowing your constitution is a great starting point to improve your health and fitness.

One size does not fit all!

As simple as that.

Which means you shouldn’t follow the mainstream advice of what to eat or what lifestyle changes you should make, without first taking into consideration your dominant dosha to truly make healthy choices that fit perfectly with your body type.

It’s interesting to see that modern medicine is now realizing the importance of personalizing preventive care to improve health management, like a study published in the US National Library of Medicine suggests.

So, how to use this questionnaire?

  1. Simply, be super honest and think about your present situation when answering each question.
  2. When in doubt, ask someone close to you to help you respond. They may notice some things about you, that are difficult for you to see!
  3. If more than one answer choice applies, pick the one that defines you the most.

At the end, you will know your dominant dosha.

Now, the question is: what to do with this information?
