Fight wrinkles and dry skin with this all natural mask.
Oh! And it’s edible!
As years pass, the collagen in our bodies starts getting depleted. We just don’t produce as much. What once was a young looking beautiful skin in our 20s, can be dry and wrinkly in our 30s. So, according to Ayurveda, the first thing to do to reverse the damage caused by too much Vata or wind in our skin is to keep it moisturized. Avoid drying makeup and too much exposure to the sun without protection. Apply healthy oils like argan or even medicated ghee and drink tons of water.
But, it is also important to reinforce the care you give your skin with homemade face masks. They don’t cost you anything but have all the nourishment it is craving. Try this DIY: Papaya and Honey face mask to delay/improve the signs of aging.
Benefits
Papaya naturally decreases Vata or the excess of wind and dryness in your body. It contains natural enzymes that diminishes scars and blemishes. It is also great for acne due to its proteolytic enzyme papain. Papaya also relieves inflammation and irritation in the skin.
